By using the Forecasting and Policy Analysis System (FPAS) to replace its antiquated multi-equation econometric model with an advanced Quarterly Projection Model (PQM), this event showcased BSP’s attempts to upgrade its macroeconomic modeling. In order to provide a thorough framework for managing intricate economic shocks and policy trade-offs, the new PAMPh incorporates labor dynamics, monetary and fiscal policy considerations, and forward-looking projections.

Along with representatives from various governmental agencies, academic institutions, non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, and partner stakeholders, ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐„๐ฃ๐š๐ฒ ๐…. ๐๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š, CAS Faculty and Focal Person of the Center for Social Science Research and Policy, and ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‘๐จ๐ช๐ฎ๐ž ๐. ๐‚๐ซ๐ฎ๐ณ ๐ˆ๐ˆ, CTHBM Faculty and Chairperson of the BS Business Administration-Financial Management program, attended the briefing on behalf of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges.
