Last August 2-4, 2024 the faculty and staff of the College of Tourism, Hospitality and Business Management conducted a capacity building entitled “Empowering Employees: Capacity Building for Gender-Responsive Curriculum (Planning ang Budgeting)” at Punta Almara, Ligao City. The aim of this activity is to enhance overall performance of the faculty and staff in terms of academic and administrative responsibilities.
The invited resource speaker of the activity was Ms. Leny Figuracion where she discussed about the gender inequality by giving certain scenarios. From there, she talked about how women are treated compared to men in terms of work. Further, she also talked about the different kinds of harassment. Lastly, she gave an advice to the attendees to get to know their partner more before giving more.
After the talk, the attendees had a fun and interactive games and prizes were given to the winners
