Spearheaded by Dr. Niรฑa SF. Sibulo, the program chair of Bachelor of Special Needs Education and assisted by some of the selected 2nd-year BSNED student extensionists, the activity titled “EMPOWERMENT OF LEARNERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS THROUGH PRACTICAL SKILLS TRAINING CUM ADVOCACY” involved special needs learners in various practical activities and tasks. The event aims to make these students independent, knowledgeable, and to empower them by fostering confidence, and societal inclusion, ultimately enhancing their quality of life through the application of newly acquired skills.
Through continouos involvement to other partner school and to the community, the CTDE Faculty and Student Extensionists illustrated their genuine commitment on realizing inclusive education that redounds the benefit to all learners including students with special needs.
