PACSA Goes to Boracay!

“Test the waters and be a pebble thrown in a pond that will have a ripple to take effect on change.” 

With the aim to develop, connect, and inspire diverse leaders to build strong and vibrant communities, the Philippine Association of Campus Student Advisers (PACSA), Inc. organized its Midyear National Convention at the La Carmela de Boracay Resort, Malay, Aklan, last November 19-21, 2023.

The above statement is the inspiring words left by Dr. John Edwin Pedroso of Marawi State University to the student leaders as he delivered his talk. Talks about “Campus Leadership and Advising; Emerging Trends, Issues and Coping in Today’s Context”,  and “Empowering Student Leaders: Driving Environmental SDGs for a Sustainable Future” were also shared by the distinguished speakers, Dr. Wilter C. Friales and Mr. Jion P. Dimson, respectively.  A pitch presentation was also conducted at the said convention, where student leaders were given the opportunity to propose sustainable projects for possible funding from the organization.

The Supreme Student Council officers joined the 3-day event, Ms. Ann Kyla B. Aquiler, Felix II W. Bermeo, and Paul Andrew B. Belir, accompanied by the council’s Senior Officer, Mr. Rowel S. Ramos.
