The 4th International Conference on Poverty Alleviation and Sustainable Development (IPOVCON) with the theme “Breaking the Cycle of Poverty through Health and Innovation” hosted by Samar Suarte University (SSU) which is co-hosted by Visayas State University (VSU) in collaboration with sixteen (14) sther Higher Education Institution (HEls) in the Philippines including Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges SPC) and three (3) International institutions was successfully conducted last October 4-5, 2023 at Rizal Park Hotel, Manila.
The conference aims to facilitate comprehensive evaluations and analyses of poverty levels in different societies and groups, with the aim of fostering a broader and enhanced comprehension of the poverty situation in the country. Likewise, the conference, promotes the establishment of connections and collaboration among the participating groups, aiming to disrupt the cycle of poverty and free Filipinos tom this cycle.
The conference was participated by Dr. Dulce F. Atian, former SUC President/OIC In-Charge, Mr. Dennis Raรฑon, CTDE faculty, and Ms. Cherry Lyn Odsinada. Also, the event was participated by the researchers and administrators from various His in the Philippines and abroad, politicians, and the organizers.
