Trainer’s Training on Feminism and Education: Enhancing Gender Mainstreaming Initiatives

The Center for Gender and Development, in collaboration with the Institute of Women’s Studies, recently conducted a 15-day Trainer’s Training on Feminism and Education Work with Women and Men. Held from July 13 to 27, 2023, at the Women and Ecology Wholeness Farm in Mendez, Cavite, the training was themed “Strengthening CSPC’s Gender Mainstreaming Initiatives through GAD Capability Anchored on Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment.”

The course aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of critical gender-related concepts and methodologies. Some key areas covered included: Gender Sensitivity Training, Gender-Based Violence and Psychosocial Intervention and Gender Law among many others. 

Participants who demonstrated exceptional achievements in creating gender-responsive project proposals and educational modules were awarded certificates of recognition for their outstanding contributions.
