The pandemic had a significant impact on admissions, particularly when it came to college entrance exams. Because of the pandemic, universities were unable to conduct entrance exams, which fundamentally altered the admissions procedure. Universities used high school grades as the primary criterion for determining a student’s admission to the university in the absence of test scores.
After a two-year hiatus, the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges College Entrance Test (CSPC-CET) is back and now part of the college application process. The CETs, as they are more commonly referred to, are essential and frequently the deciding factor for students’ admission to universities.
As of today, January 9, 2023, the CSPC-CET has officially started its first week. The CET, which is currently being administered at the CSPC Testing Room, will be taken by a total of 60 prospective students today. Meanwhile, a total of 300 incoming first-year students are anticipated to take the CSPC-CET during its first week.
If you’re an incoming first-year student who wants to attend CSPC, you still have until April 30, 2023, to submit your online admission application. The CSPC-CET will be running until the second week of May 2023, and the entrance test results will be made public on June 2023.
