Among the 17 National Finalists from the different regions of the country, Paul David N. Luna, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics (BSAM) student of the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), landed fourth in the 26th Philippine Statistics Quiz National Finals.
Proudly representing the Bicol Region after securing the championship in the previous Regional Finals, Luna now received his recognition today, December 6, 2022, at the Century Park Hotel in Manila, Philippines.
Mark Ronel R. Ocbian, one of the instructors of the university, served as Luna’s coach throughout the competition.
The event, with the theme, “The Search for the Country’s Young Statistics Whizzes”, was organized by the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Philippine Statistical Association Inc.
