The Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Center for Rinconada Culture and the Arts (CSPC-CRCA) in collaboration with Makulay Rinconada sponsored a week-long exhibit from February 21 to 28, 2022 which displayed artworks for sale from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the CSPC Auditorium.
Dubbed “Pagmakulog: An Art for a Cause” the exhibit featured priced artwork by Makulay Rinconada Artists, the sales intended for accumulating finances for the latter’s identified cancer patients. According to organizers the activity “demonstrates CRCA’s commitment to the promotion of contemporary art in Rinconada while acting upon art’s humanitarian potential.
The exhibit successfully sold more than half of the displayed paintings while the others remain in Museo Rinconada’s temporary collection.
Makulay Rinconada is a group of local artists engaged in organizing art exhibits showcasing local art talents.
