CRCA sponsors exclusive Digital Art Contest for CSPCeans

The Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Center for Rinconada Culture and the Arts sponsored a Digital Art Competition exclusively for CSPC students, faculty and non-teaching personnel under its Sining Biswal Art Competitions from January 27 to February13, 2022.


The panel of judges were composed of CSPC Student Registration and Records Director and independent artist Arlene O. Malaya, independent artist and San Pedro High School teacher Jaime Coralde, and also independent artist and Zeferino Arroyo High School teacher Mark Anthony O. Taduran.


Winners of the digital art competition are: Manuel Guanzon in first place; Sep Ibarreta in second place, and; John Bryan Estipona in third place. Winners took home cash prizes P5,000.00, P3,000.00, and P2,000.00, respectively.


The said competition encouraged emerging artists “to experiment with digital technology” with various formats of standalone digital art images such as graphic posters, web comics, fractal, algorithmic art, data-moshing, dynamic painting, 2D computer graphics, 3D computer graphics, pixel art, digital photography, photo-painting, manual vector drawing, integrated art/mixed media and hybrid painting, raster painting, and computer-generated painting.
