Winning pieces for the Group Painting Contest were announced via Facebook on March 1, 2022 by the Center for Rinconada Culture and the Arts (CRCA) after 10 teams of young Rinconada artists faced-off in the On-Site Painting Competition of the Sining Biswal Art Competition on February 9 to 14, 2022.
Winning first prize is ‘Bula Pinta’ which won P10,000.00, second prize and P7,000.00 went to ‘Casa’, and third prize and P5,000.00 went to ‘Alcolors’. Other teams who participated went home with a consolation prize of P2,000.00.
The competition was judged by Terrence Verona, owner and Manager at Artist Crib Print Hub, and independent artists Jaime Coralde and CSPC Student Records Director Arlene O. Malaya.
