For its third year, the Language Studies Society is reintroducing Project REDEEM (Reading Enhancement and Development of English Macroskills). LSS has been carrying out this extension activity since 2018, aimed at improving the reading and literacy skills of selected pupils at Madawon Elementary School in Nabua, Camarines Sur.

In partnership with the CSPC Center for Extension and Community Services, this year’s Project REDEEM is now better equipped to offer extension services to students in Grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 at Madawon Elementary School. The project will continue with weekly sessions every Friday afternoon, with the first learning session on April 5, 2024.

With the help of student volunteers and faculty extensionists, we aim to establish a platform to share our linguistic expertise and develop our teaching abilities, assisting not only ourselves but also enhancing the educational experience of the chosen beneficiaries in preparation for higher grade levels. Let us come together to support this continuous, impactful initiative, foster a love of learning, and make a real difference in the lives of these young people at Madawon Elementary School.
