TheSPARK’s art editor, Rafael O. Morales, together with his teammate, Jhim Christofel C. Barayoga, were hailed as champions of the 1st Mural painting competition of Barangay San Nicolas, Baao, Camarines Sur on September 4, 2022.
The competition, with the theme “Kabataan kontra sa Droga, tungo sa pag-unlad ng buhay at pamayanan, katuwang ng gobyerno at paaralan,” aims to evaluate students’ artistic competence by giving them the opportunity to learn and compete in a spirit of sportsmanship, togetherness, and camaraderie.
The top three teams received cash awards and a certificate of appreciation.
