CRCA sponsors Rinconada 101 podcast series

The Center for Rinconada Culture and the Arts held its Concierto Rinconada via Facebook on February 28, 2022, bringing the National Arts Month 2022 to its close. The concert extravaganza was in collaboration with the different LGUs and some of the Cultural and Artistic groups of the District to highlight this year’s NCCA theme, “Sining ng Pag-asa”.


The opening featured a message from CSPC President Charlito P. Cadag and ‘Pamanang Rinconada’, a video presenting cultural assets across several towns in Rinconada. The Concert proper featured “Rinconada Namomootan” by the CSPC Chorale; dances by the CSPC Performing Arts as ‘Rinampo’, ‘Jota Rojana’, ‘Himig sa Nayon’, ‘Jota Sevillana’, ‘Sarong Banggi’, and ‘Pastores’; songs as ‘Lumang Simbahan’ performed by Kathleen Remolar and ‘Kaming Mangmamani’ performed by the CSPC Performing Arts Chorale. Further, performances from Rinconada talents were showcased through song and dances from the Nabua Dance Academy and the Artists of LGU Nabua, Bula Fam Street Dancers, D’MAG Dancers from Iriga, Performances from LGU Bato and performances from Angelo Espiritu, the Datu Siblings, and the MMA Dancers of LGU Buhi.


Concierto Rinconada was also the venue for the announcement of the winners of the Sining Biswal Art Competitions in Digital Art Category, Group Painting Category, Logo Design Category and Short Film Category.


The concert was hosted by Lea Mae Posugac and Neil De Lima Vargas. The Facebook video has since acquired 5,100 plus views, 617 comments and 707 heart reactions.
