The dawn of information technology has made the privacy of personal data a sensitive concern as people turned to different physical and electronic means in order to store, and process information. Such mechanism is deemed vital to the growth of an organization and holds a crucial role to nation-building at large.

Relative to this, RA 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, was crafted on “the policy of the State to protect the fundamental human right to privacy of communication while ensuring free flow of information to promote innovation and growth…[and] the [State’s] inherent obligation to ensure that personal information in information and communications systems in government and in the private sector are secured and protected.”

Below are the College’s Privacy Policy and the approved Data Privacy Manual to ensure that the processing of all important data within the College, especially information belonging to officials, faculty, staff, and students, is in compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
