Research and Development Agenda for 2020-2024

[lab_heading title_tag=”H3″ title=”Research and Development Agenda (RDA) for 2020-2024 “][/lab_heading]The CSPC’s Center for Research and Development (CRD) has been doing relevant activities in research and development. The Research and Development Agenda (RDA) of the institution shall ensure sustainable development of the community and the industry. The RDA was geared towards the Ambisyon Natin 2040 which articulates the Filipino people’s collective vision of a MATATAG, MAGINHAWA, AT PANATAG NA BUHAY PARA SA LAHAT, and was supported by the three (3) pillars: Malasakit (enhancing the social fabric), Pagbabago (reducing inequality) and Kaunlaran (increasing potential growth) which are braced by inclusive growth, high-trust and resilient society and globally competitive knowledge economy. It has also aligned with the Harmonized National R&D agenda of DOST, R&D priorities of CHED and NEDA and other relevant institutions.

A Stakeholders’ Consultative Meeting was conducted last February 6, 2020. The meeting was well attended by representatives in the various agencies and institutions, which include DOST, NEDA, CHED, DSWD, various SUCs, Local Government Units, Community, Industry, Faculty, Students and other stakeholders to ensure that this addresses the current needs of the industry and the community.

The CSPC’s RDA is anchored to the Regional R&D Agenda consisting of four (4) sectors: Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources; Health; Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology; and Basic Research.[lab_heading title_tag=”H3″ title=”Research Links” el_class=”sidebar-heading”][/lab_heading]
