Dr. Dan Fereth B. Fajardo, Program Chair of the AB English Language Studies of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) has successfully published his latest research article in the Journal of Language and Literacy Education (JoLLE@UGA), a Scopus-indexed international journal.
Titled โReparative Literacies in the AI-Supported Classroom: Hopeful and Humanizing Practices of Language Teachers,โ the study examines how language educators meaningfully integrate artificial intelligence into literacy instruction while preserving compassion, ethical responsibility, and learner-centered pedagogy.
Conducted in a Philippine state college, the research presents AI as a tool that supports inclusive, humanizing, and equitable learning experiences rather than replacing the vital role of teachers.
The publication contributes to international discussions on AI-assisted language education and highlights the significant role of Filipino educators in advancing context-responsive and ethical educational innovations.
It likewise supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), through its emphasis on inclusive and transformative teaching practices.
Dr. Fajardoโs achievement further strengthens CSPCโs growing presence in the global research community and underscores the institutionโs dedication to producing scholarly works that create meaningful impact in education.
