CSPC made its first entry into the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026, establishing an international baseline for the College’s sustainability initiatives and practices.
In its debut, CSPC ranked 1,894th among 2,016 participating institutions from 110 countries, while placing 1,176th in Asia and 126th in the Philippines.
Established by Universitas Indonesia, UI GreenMetric provides a global framework for assessing sustainability efforts in higher education. Its 2026 edition covers seven areas: Setting and Infrastructure; Energy and Climate Change; Waste; Water; Transportation; Education; and Governance and Digitalization.
For CSPC, participation provides a benchmark for examining sustainability across academic, research, extension, campus operations, resource management, and governance functions. The results also establish a reference point for identifying areas for development and strengthening evidence-based sustainability initiatives in succeeding submissions.
The College’s inaugural submission was facilitated by the Center for International Relations and Linkages (CIRL), headed by A/Prof. Filmor J. Murillo, as part of its efforts to broaden CSPC’s participation in international initiatives and benchmarking mechanisms.
