CSPC Heroes lauded on World Teachers’ Day 2022

A total of 180 faculty members of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) were honored and loved on the World Teachers’ Day Celebration organized by the Supreme Student Council, together with the different College Student Councils, with the theme, “Teachers: Leading in Crisis, Reimagining the Future” on October 3,2022 at the CSPC Auditorium.

The celebration began with an encouraging speeches from Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, College President, and Dr. Amado O. Oliva, Jr., VPAA.

Subsequently, various games, film screening of video entries from various VLOGuro departments and its awards, Mr. & Ms. Academe pageant, raffle draws, and the presentation of the CSPC Student’s Choice Award for Best Educators 2022 were held during the event.

In the VLOGuro competition, BSN 1C ranked third, AB English 3A placed second, and BSN 2G bagged the first place. The Bachelor of Public Administration also received the People’s Choice Award.

Mr. Bryan Deo Tataro and Ms. Mary Ivy Malapo, representatives from the College of Health Sciences, won the Mr. and Ms. Academe 2022, which was composed of a self-introduction and a question-and-answer segment.

The winners of the CSPC Students’ Choice Award for Best Educator 2022 were also announced during the event. For the over-all accumulated votes, Mr. Rowel Ramos, Ms. Sharmine Nuez, and Mr. Jo Vincent Bardaje, were declared first, second, and third place, respectively. On the other hand, for each college, Ms. Marivic Ramizares (CCS), Ms. Diana Hugo (CTDE), Ms. Jessa Brioso (CTHBM), Mrs. Jhunna Talangan (CHS), Mr. Marlon Pontillas (CAS), and Mr. Edriane Jay Dimanarig (COEA) were also recognized.

Meanwhile, the College of Health Sciences (CHS) was acknowledged as the most participative department due to students’ and teachers’ active participation during the culminating activity.

The CSPC Chorale and CSPC Dance Troupe also presented outstanding performances, along with a live presentation and a surprise number by the SSC together with the Dance Troupe.

The event ended with the closing remarks given by Engr. Francia H. Tomenio, the FAI Vice President.
