ESO participates in FGD for strengthened activities

Along with UNBOUND-Legazpi Inc. and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) representatives from various community barangays, the Extension Services Office participated in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to assess plans for extension projects and activities. This is still part of the strengthening commitment to linkages and networks.

The FGD was held on August 12 at CSPC Pearl Function Hall. Ms. Angelina Bermas, Head and Project Coordinator of UNBOUND-Legazpi; together with Ms. Lilibeth Red, Social Development Department Head, Ms. Maria Dolores Maronilla, BLI Subproject Coordinator, Ms. Heralyn A. Beato and Ms. Jamaica Joy Gruta, Social Development Worker facilitated the Focus Group Discussion, and was joined in by Dr. Teresita B. Salazar, VP for Research, Extension, Production and Entrepreneurial Development, Mr. Charles V. Bolival, Director of the Extension Services, Mrs. Hazel R. Aquino, Administrative Assistant I, Ms. Arancha
Monica C. Breva, Community Extension Worker, Mr. Jay Christian M. Fajardo, Administrative Aide
III and Ms. Judith M. Baldago, Administrative Aide I.

The Extension Coordinators highlighted the extension PPAs in line with their College’s areas of expertise, namely: Ms. Rosalie B. Bulalacao for the College of Tourism, Hospitality and Business Management (CTHBM), Mr. Alvin B. Badong for College of Technological and Developmental Education (CTDE), Ms. Eden Q. Paniterce for College of Health Sciences (CHS), Mrs. Daisylen D. Alano for College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Ms. Josefina H. Llagas for College of Computer Studies (CCS), and Dr. Maria Teresa J. Manzano for Graduate Studies.

The FGD was attended by forty-eight (48) parents as group representatives. This endeavor would pave way towards generation of projects and activities which are responsive to the socioeconomic condition of families and communities in Rinconada area.
