Guidance Center debriefs faculty, guidance staff and admin

In light of the two suicide cases of students from the College of Engineering, the Guidance Center conducted a debriefing sessions for faculty, staff, guidance staff, and administration on March 22, 2022 at the CSPC Pearl Function Hall.

According to organizers, the response is a postvention program for faculty, staff and administration of the ECE and ME programs which followed a similar debriefing program for students who had close ties with the victims. The psychosocial debriefing consisted of two parts: the first was a ‘Growth Groups Session’ which helped the participants process the consecutive events; the second was the ‘Growth Groups Workshop’ which trained participants on handling debriefing and postvention programs.
