BSCE students bag 3rd place in national CAD Challenge

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering students Jeremy Azur, Dexter Nuñez, and Marc Louie Udtohan won the third place in the 2021 Executives Challenge XVII: CAD Edition after they represented the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges in the 2022 Engineering Congress sponsored by the University of the Philippines Civil Engineering Executive Organization on February 12, 2022.


The goal of the CAD competition was to produce a structural model which innovates current engineering models to promote sustainability and harbor protection of the environment.


An eCertificate of Recognition and a cash prize of Php 5,000.00 was awarded to the CSPC team coached by Engr. John Tey Pacturanan.


The Engineering Congress is an annual nationwide engineering event that features Engineering Seminar and Executives’ Challenge. Engineering Congress 2022 focuses on the theme, “Forging Alternatives: Breakthroughs of Sustainable Engineering amidst Contemporary Socio-economic Challenges”, to tackle the developments in sustainable engineering and its impact on society.
