CRCA spearheads 2022 National Arts Month celebration

The Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Center for Rinconada Culture and Arts (CSPC-CRCA) spearheaded the 2022 National Arts Month celebrations, launching the month-long festivities with a virtual opening ceremony on February 3, 2022 via Facebook live.


The virtual ceremony featured recorded messages from Bato Municipal Mayor Hon. Frank B. Bernaldez, Buhi Municipal Mayor Nabua Hon. Margarita M. Aguinillo, Municipal Mayor Hon. Atty. Fernando D. Simbulan and live speeches from DepEd Region V Curriculum and Learning Management Division Chief Dr. Francisco B. Bulalacao, CSPC President Charlito P. Cadag and CRCA head Dr. Jay Luzon.


The opening ceremony also came with performances from cultural groups performing the national anthem and the invocation and an AVP on the Rinconada Culture. It signaled the start of a monthlong celebration of culture, particularly Rinconada culture.


The NAM 2022 celebrations were themed ‘Sining ng Pag-Asa’ which organizers say is a timely revival of the resilient and persevering nature of the Rinconada cultural heritage.


The CSPC’s National Arts Month was filled with programs and activities as the Musika Rinconada and Rinconada 101 radio programs via CSPC Campus Radio, the Sining Biswal Competitions which featured group painting, logo design, digital art making, and short film making, the Pamanang Rinconada video series, the Saritang Rinconada poster series, the Short Film Festival, the Exhibit for a Cause, and the Concierto Rinconada.
