CSPC-CRD heads 1st Int’l Multidisciplinary Conference

The Center for Research and Development spearheaded the 1st International Multidisciplinary Conference on Engineering and Technology, Education, Management, and Developmental Studies (1st IMCETEMDS) with the theme, “Fostering Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation Towards Sustainable Development in the New Normal” last November 26-27, 2021 via Video Conferencing.


The guests and speakers in the conference were: Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, President of the Philippine Association of State University and Colleges (PASUC) and Batangas State University (BatStateU); Dr. Aldrin A. Darilag, Commissioner of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Chair of CSPC Board of Trustees; Dr. Safary Wa-Mbaleka, Associate Professor of Education and Dean of School of Postgraduate Studies Adventist University of Africa Online, Nairobi, Kenya; and Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Assistant Professor, BRAC Business School, BRAC University, Bangladesh.


The conference was participated by various authors and researchers in the different institutions and organisations in the Philippines and abroad, consisting of 80 research papers in the various fields/tracks, namely, Engineering and Technology; Technology and Product Development; Agricultural Technology; Agriculture and Biological Sciences; Governmental, Industrial and Community Development; Educational Management; Teaching-Learning Strategies and Practices; Curricular Development and Instructional Innovation; Social Sciences; and Business, Management and Economics.


Best Paper and Best Presenter awards were given to outstanding papers and presentations in the various fields/tracks of the conference.


The 1st International Multidisciplinary Conference on Engineering and Technology, Education, Management and Development Studies (1st IMCETEMDS) aims to provide an academic platform for researchers, professionals, scholars and academicians to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in Engineering and Technology, Education, Management and Development Studies. The conference also seeks to contribute to presenting novel research results in the fields.
