CSPC holds environment, gender advocacy seminar for Brgy del Rosario Baao residents

The Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges through its Extension Services Office in cooperation with the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Technological and Developmental Education conducted a limited face-to-face skills training workshop on environment, gender advocacy, and mental health for 45 residents of Brgy. Del Rosario, Baao, Camarines Sur on November 17-19, 2021.


Titled “Pag-Magpakulog sa Tawo Asin kapalibutan, Baaoeños Maaasahan” the skills training and workshop discussed environmental care, gender and development and mental health to help the participants with improving themselves amidst the COVID pandemic.


Speakers from the CAS, CTDE and ESO imparted their knowledge discussing the following topics: Preparation of Project Proposal for Approval by CEAS Extension Coordinator Daisylen D. Alano; Environmental Care, Proper Waste Disposal and Recycling by Ruby Jane Gonzales with Romeo Sotto and Catherine B. Guames as facilitators; Mental Health by Leny Figuracion with Leo Francis Barbonio and Ramon T. Arabe as facilitators; and, Gender and Development by Dennis Rañon with Mark Ronel Ocbian and Patrick Paulino as facilitators.


The activity cost Php 15,600.00, Php 4,750.00 of which came from CSPC funds and Php 10,850.00 from external funds, used to defray expenses for a tarpaulin banner, training kits, meals, and snacks.
