Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) will be this year’s host for the Provincial Skills Competition on October 12 and 13 at the College Auditorium.

The event will be facilitated by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Provincial Office in coordination with CSPC’s TESDA Assessment Center through its coordinator, Mr. Joseph Illo.

The Provincial Skills Competition primarily aims to promote the development of quality vocational and technical and work values among the youth and skilled workers in the fields of Bakery, Cooking, Restaurant Services, Information Networking Cabling, Information Network Systems Administration, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning, Welding, and Electrical Installation and Maintenance.

The winners will represent the province of Camarines Sur in the Regional Skills Competition. The regional winners will eventually become Bicol Region’s bet to the national competition.

Gracing the occasion are TESDA Regional Director Elmer K. Talavera, CESO III; TESDA Provincial Director Mariglo Macabuhay-Sese; Governor Luis Villafuerte of the Province of Camarines Sur; Congresswoman Jocelyn F. Fortuno of the 5th District of Camarines Sur; and President Charlito P. Cadag of CSPC.
