Orientation on Outcome-Based Syllabus Design held

With the aim of ensuring the effective implementation of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum framework, the Curricular Reforms and Instructional Materials and Resources Development Services (CRIMRDS) Office of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) hosted an orientation on Outcome-Based Syllabus Design on July 22, 2021 via Zoom.

Administrative officials and faculty members were present in the virtual event which was led by Director Herbert John N. Nachor of CRIMRDS as its resource person. Topics discussed include the Philippine Qualifications Framework and OBE Fundamentals and its implementation in Higher Education Institutions.

Culminating the orientation was a workshop on writing an outcome-based syllabus.

In 2019, CSPC partnered with the Association of Education Researchers and Trainers, Inc., or ASSERT, for the integration of OBE into the institution. This collaboration paved the way for a training seminar titled “Outcome-Based Education: Synergizing Workplace and Academic Outcomes” held last January.
