CSPC, PUP team up for postgrad IT program offerings

Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, to support the College in its offering of Master of Information Technology (MIT) and Doctor of Information Technology (DIT).
 
Under the collaboration, CSPC will hire highly qualified adjunct faculty from PUP to handle teaching assignments in the two post-graduate IT programs.
 
Signing for CSPC was Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, College President, who expressed his utmost gratitude to the university “for being with the College in this journey.”
 
“Our partnership with PUP opens the gateway to a vast field of possibilities,” Dr. Cadag said.
 
Meanwhile, leading the signatories for PUP was Dr. Manuel M. Muhi, University President.
 
Other CSPC officials who witnessed the ceremony were Dr. Amado A. Oliva, VP for Academic Affairs; Dr. Jocelyn O. Jintalan, Dean of Graduate School; Dr. Challiz D. Omorog, Dean of the College of Computer Studies; Dr. Ian P. Benitez, Director of the Center for Management Information Communication Technology; and Prof. Filmor Murillo, Director for International Linkages and Public Affairs.
 
Dr. Muhi was joined by his fellow PUP heads, Dr. Benilda Eleanor Comendador, Program Chair of MIT; and Dr. Aleta Fabregas, Chief of the Center for Mathematics, Computing, and Information Sciences Research.
