The Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges partnered with the Universitas Muhammadiyah Purworejo, Indonesia in conducting the International Forum on Business Education 4.0: A Webinar Series on Issues, Challenges and Coping Strategies of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Recovering Economies: Reference for Academicians on June 1 and 8, 2021 at 2:00-4:30 PM (PST)/1:00-3:30 PM (WIB) via Zoom. This virtual event aimed to explore the complex issues that confront SMEs on Post-Covid economies.

The two-day virtual event featured four (4) topics which were delivered by International Lecturers and Industry Practitioners: Building and Sustaining the Competitive Advantage of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Recovering Economies by Kai Soriano-Sta. Cruz, CEO, Navigating Careers (Philippines); Energizing the Existence of SMEs in the Pandemic Era: Lessons from the Indonesian Perspective by Dr. Murry Harmawan, M. Sc., Professor, UMPWR (Indonesia); Role of the Government, Technology and Social Media in SMNEs’ Coping with Issues and Challenges by Agus Aaur Utomo, M.Sc., Professor, UMPWR (Indonesia); and Value Chain Management of SMEs during Most Challenging Period by Francisco “Paco” Magsaysay, MEntrep, CEO, Carmen’s Best (Philippines).

Inspirational messages were also delivered by CSPC President, Dr. Charlito P. Cadag and UMPWR Rector, Dr. Rofiq Nurhadi.
