CSPC, CGAD distribute learning tablets to marginalized studes

Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, through the Center for Gender and Development, distributed 400 learning tablets to marginalized students on March 30, 2021 at the Pearl Function Hall.

The provision of the tablets is considered by the College as one of its mechanisms to address the learning needs of the students brought about by the educational challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, College President, these technological assistance initiatives are in line with the aspiration of having learned fine points on how to expand effective social intervention and introduce new ways of working within educational systems amid a global crisis.

The beneficiaries are composed of students who belong to marginalized groups of the society such as solo parents, persons with disabilities, and indigenous people, as well as those whose parents were unemployed due to the pandemic.
