CSPC hits another milestone with CSPC Broadcast Center

In fulfillment of its explorations of strategies and solutions in response to the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) has expanded and enhanced the utilization of its existing technologies with the launching of the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) Broadcast Center on March 22, 2021. The whole-day affair celebrated the commencement of its official operations, aiming to gain media attention, to showcase the prosperity of the College, and to create goodwill with neighboring educational institutions, government and non-government agencies, other broadcast media and the College’s surrounding community.


The CSPC Broadcast Center is a major milestone in the College’s history which features the first Educational Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcast (DTTB) in the Philippines. With its 240-foot trylon tower used as the backbone for its operations, the broadcast center will be used for the CSPC Blended Learning Project. The broadcast tower is designed to handle the FM Radio’s Campus Radio 87.5 FM with the authorized power of 10 watts, FMR University Radio 94.3 Fm with an authorized power of 5,000 watts, and is equipped with digital television antennas.


The inauguration of the CSPC Broadcast Center was led by College President Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, in a festive and colorful ceremony, with DOST-V Regional Director and CSPC Board of Regent Trustee Hon. Rommel Serrano as guest of honor. The activity was organized by the University Broadcast Center headed by Executive Operating Officer Prof. Hejie A. Dimabogt. Assistance for the media coverage and press conference was provided the Office for Public Relations and Knowledge Management through its Director Dr. Noel R. Volante.
