CGAD exhibits contest masterpieces

Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) displayed the masterpieces submitted for contests sponsored by the Center for Gender and Development (CGAD) starting March 22, 2021, 10 AM onwards at Museo Rinconada located at the Second Floor of Library Building.

The occasion was graced by special guest and judges: Sir Francisco “Frank” Peñones, a renowned Bicolano writer and the former representative of Luzon to the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCAA); Richard La Torre Perez, a known Bicolano artist; Mr. Frederick Pablico of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW); and Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, CSPC President, who also rendered an inspirational message.

Judging of the Painting, Infomercial, Photography, and Tarpaulin/Poster Contests followed and was attended by contest participants, Director Dennis N. Rañon and staff of CGAD, CSPC officials, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and some invited guests and stakeholders. Winners will be announced on March 25, 2021.

The said display of entries coincides with the College’s celebration of the 2021 National Women’s Month. It can be noted that the CGAD steered several contests with regard to this year’s theme “We Make Change Work for Women: Juana Laban sa Pandemya, Kaya!”.

This exhibit is a joint program of CGAD and Center for Rinconada Culture and Arts (CRCA).
