CSPC, DIU conduct international forum on Business 4.0

Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) and Daffodil International University (DIU), Bangladesh, have partnered in conducting the International Forum in Business Education 4.0: A Webinar Series on the Challenges, Prospects and Opportunities in Offering Business Education Programs in the 4th Industrial Revolution Era. The first session of the two-part series was held on February 4, 2021 at 3:00 PM (Philippine Time)/1:00 PM (Bangladesh Time).

The forum started with the Words of Welcome by Mr. Kazi Mesbah Ur Rahman, the Administrative Officer of Office of International Affairs (DIU) and was followed by the Inspirational Message of Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, CSPC President. Two lecturers were featured during the Lecture Proper which was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Filmor J. Murillo, Director of CSPC’s Center for International Linkages and Affairs (CILA).

The first lecture highlighted the “Challenges in Business Education in the Industry 4.0 Era” which was presented by Prof. Celso Noel D. Aban who sits as the National President of the Entrepreneurship Educators’ Association of the Philippines (ENEDA) and who currently teaches at the University of Santo Tomas (UST). The second lecture focused on “Integrating 21st Century Skills in Business 4.0 which was discussed by Dr. Mohhammed Masum Iqbal who is affiliated with DIU as Professor in the Department of Business Administration and the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship.

The webinar was attended by more than two hundred participants from CSPC, DIU, Sorsogon State College, Quezon City University, Bicol University, Catanduanes State University, University of Santo Tomas – Legaspi, Canadian Trillinium School (Bangladesh), and Universitas Sriwijaya (Indonesia), and from other non-academic organizations. It was hosted by Ms. Alyssa D. Lagatic, a CSPC faculty member.

The international forum is being spearheaded by the College of Business Management (CBM) under the leadership of its Dean, Dr. Jocelyn O. Jinatalan, and the Center for International Linkages and Affairs, with the technical Support of the Management Information and Communications Technology Office under Dr. Ian P. Benitez. Its second part is happening on February 10, 2021.
