CHED green-lights CSPC’s offering of BSNEd, BPEd

Two new programs of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) under the College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS) – Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNEd) and Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) – were granted with Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) after successfully meeting the prescribed minimum requirements of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for its offering in the College.

The granting of COPC is in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act No. 7722, otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994,” and by virtue of CMO No. 14, Series of 2019 or the “Policies and guidelines in the Issuance of COPC to State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs).”

The said COPCs were awarded on December 28, 2020 by Dr. Freddie T. Bernal, Regional Director of CHED Regional Office V.

Furthermore, three programs will undergo Regional Quality Assessment (RQA) on January 13, 14 and 22, 2021 for Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education (BCAEd), Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) and Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (BSDevCom), respectively. RQA will be the basis for the issuance of the COPC for the said programs.
