CSPC qualifies for PBB 2018

Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges is among the 14 State Universities and Colleges included in the First Batch of PBB eligible certified by the Inter-Agency Task Force/AO25 Secretariat last January 2020 after the tedious evaluation of the accomplishments for year 2018.

 

Performance-Based Bonus is a top-up bonus given to qualified agencies and employees after meeting all the targets enumerated in the General Appropriations Act 2018.  The agency should achieve 100% of the Major Final Outputs (MFO) targets on Higher and Advanced Higher Education which include Performance in Licensure Examination, Enrolment in Priority Programs, Employment of Graduates, and Accreditation of Programs.  Research Services is evaluated on the number of completed researches, papers presented in regional, national and international for a, and researches utilized by the community.  On Technical Advisory and Extension Services, accomplishments focused on the number of persons trained, number of extension programs organized and number of linkages established.

 

Aside from the MFO targets, CSPC was also evaluated on the GASS requirements which include Budget Utilization Rate, compliance to Freedom of Information, Citizen’s Charter Requirement, posting in the Transparency Seal/College Website of important information, submission of Statement of Assets and Liabilities, and many others.

 

Dr. April Z. Luzon, the Director for Institutional Planning and Development is the concurrent  PBB Focal Person of the College, who takes charge of the PBB requirements and submissions to external agencies enumerated in the Memorandum Circular issued by the AO25 Secretariat.

 

For 2018, the College of Management and Entrepreneurship was declared as the Best Delivery Unit; the College of Engineering as Better Delivery Unit; and the College of Information and Communications Technology, College of Health Care Technology, and College of Education, Arts and Sciences are classified as Good Delivery Units.  The result was carefully deliberated by the Performance Management Team of the College, chaired by Mr. Ferdinand B. Valencia, Vice President for Administration.  For the last 7 years, CSPC has been a consistent qualifier in the Performance-Based Bonus.

 

For PBB 2019 cycle, the Institutional Planning and Development submitted the Accomplishment Report last February 28, 2020 to the AO25 Secretariat for evaluation.  CSPC is again hopeful to be eligible for 2019 PBB as a result of the fired-up spirit and collaboration among all units in the College to ensure that goals are achieved year-round.
