Singapore Polytechnic CDIO

Dr. Dulce F. Atian joined other leaders of SUCs in the Study Trip to Singapore last August 30-31, 2017 in Singapore Polytechnic. The
Singapore Polytechnic (SP), through the kind sponsorship of Temasek Foundation International (TFI), organized the Study Trip to Singapore Polytechnic for Leaders of CHED, PASUC, and SUCs.

The 2-day study trip programme conducted in Singapore provided participants with an appreciation of CDIO implementation at the institutional level and the broader government framework on skills development at the policy level.

This familiarization programme serves to inform institutional thinking on the processes, challenges, and recommendations on how they can guide their respective institutions in implementing CDIO effectively. The programme also provided them with the opportunity to exchange ideas with the CDIO adopters in Singapore Polytechnic. They could observe and learn how CDIO Standards and Skillsets are implemented during their visits to the various schools. They will also visit relevant government agencies and/or other educational institutions to understand how Singapore responds to the challenges of the rapidly changing industry.

A feather added to CSPC’s cap, Temasek Foundation, Singapore Polytechnic, CHED and PASUC recognized CSPC among The 11 SUCs in the Second Wave: of CDIO & Design Thinking Implementation.

This is another milestone for the college in its quest for internationalization
