2018 Planning And Budgeting Workshop (Phase Iii)

You might notice how we constantly put a bright spotlight on teamwork every time we convene in principal moments such as today. I owe this to the fact that teamwork is an essential part of our workplace success here in our beloved College.

Like a basketball team working together to set up the perfect shot, each one of us has a specific role to play in accomplishing tasks on our respective tasks. Although it may seem as if one player scored the basket, that basket was made possible by many people’s preparation, coordination, and cooperation to get that player the ball. You are a gem to the group if you consider yourself as an individual who does not only know how to work well with others, but also someone who understands that not every player on the team can or will be the one who will carry the ball and make that successful shot.

With the countless blessings that were recently showered upon us, there is no doubt that these milestones were made possible by the effectivity and efficiency of our strategy – and that is to make this power team an inclusive synergy of skilled and competitive CSPCeans who can execute expertise with a positive attitude and firm commitment.

In my belief, CSPC is an academic institution with the right team members in place with all the required knowledge and the right approach towards its objectives. As we commence the third phase of enriching our Planning and Budgeting program, let us inculcate in our mind and heart that through our dedication and drive for excellence, at the end of the day, we can achieve an even better approach for the best of our College.

Learning the value of teamwork and becoming an effective member of a group is a vital aspect that we must possess before taking an initial step of a plan and eventually ending up with success. Quoting Mia Hamm, a retired American soccer player, “I am a member of a team and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it, because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion.”

Thank you and to God be all the glory!
