3 CSPC teams advance to EU Whiz Online Competition Round of 50

Three teams consisting of students from Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges moved forward to the Round of 50 of the EU Whiz Online Trivia Competition sponsored by the delegation of the European Union to the Philippines.

Team A of Mark Adrian Pontanal, Charina Jane Namoro, and Christian Cantor; Team B of Ivan Boaquiña, Jurah Ariela Ibarbia, and Joshua Alvarado; and Team C of John Reynold Brioso, Mary-Lou Balbuena, and Shiela Parco qualified to the next phase after contending with 175 other schools in the country during the elimination round held on June 12, 2021.

All representatives of the College were coached by Mr. Roque B. Cruz, II, faculty of the College of Business Management.

Competitors answered questions covering various subject matters including basic facts about the EU, EU pop culture and trends, EU-Philippine relations, EU values, and EU General Action Plans.

They will proceed to the Round of 50 on June 19 to secure slots in the Final Round which will be contended for by the ten highest-scoring teams.
