Hon. Salvador B. Belaro Jr., Representative, Ang Edukasyon Partylist, announced in the 1st Quarter Board of Trustees Meeting last February 22, 2017 that House Bill No. 5119 is filed in Congress converting Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges to Polytechnic University of Bicol. Said bill is co-sponsored by Hon. Salvio B. Fortuno, Representative, 5th District of Camarines Sur.
Commissioner Ronald L. Adamat served as key speaker on the Trainer’s Training on Federalism held last January 26-27, 2017 in College of Education Training Hall, Bicol University, Legazpi City organized by Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges Bicol Region.
Dr. Dulce F. Atian, SUC President II and Dr. Teresita B. Salazar, Vice President for Academic Affairs proudly received the plaque of recognition awarded to Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges for successfully establishing a Quality Management System Certified to ISO 9001:2008 Standards in compliance with Executive Order No. 05, s. 2007. Said recognition was done at Land Bank of the Philippines Auditorium, Malate, Manila last November 10, 2016, graced with the presence of none other than Her Excellency Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo. Our College is one among the twenty two (22) government organizations bestowed by this another prestigious award given by Government Quality Management Committee headed by Sec. Benjamin E. Diokno, Department of Budget and Management.
