Dr. Atian and Engr. Tomenio go to Singapore for CDIO Experiential Learning Workshop
Dr. Dulce F. Atian, SUC President II and Engr. Francia H. Tomenio, Dean of College of Engineering of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges had attended the 2.5 day program workshop entitled “Conceive, Design, Implement, and Operate (CDIO) Framework for Rethinking Education-Experiential Learning Workshop in Singapore on September 7-9, 2016. This was organized by the Temasek Foundation, Singapore Polytechnic TVET (General) Specialists Programme Philippines and PASUC which has been attended by various participants coming from different state universities and colleges.
The said workshop has enhanced the participant’s skills and knowledge in CDIO, complemented the conceptual training and sessions which have been participated earlier, provided the opportunity to interact with the CDIO adopters in Singapore Polytechnic and observed and learned how CDIO Standards and Skillsets are implemented during visits to the various schools’ facilities.
Truly, being world class institution is going world class but attaining it through locally.
