Aligned with the mission of the College to provide quality education and services to its clients and stakeholders and strengthen their qualifications and capacity to respond and remain relevant to local, regional, national and global priorities, CSPC conceptualized a project proposal titled Strengthening of the Internal Quality Assurance Program Alignment with the Transition to Outcomes-Based and Typology-Based Education in response to the call of CHED for Institutional Development and Innovation Grants under the K to 12 Transition Program. This project was established to provide funding to strengthen the higher education institutions’ (HEIs) capacity and qualifications and to ensure quality and long-term sustainability.
The proposal entitled “Development of Municipal e-Governance Systems through ICT” was finally approved for CY 2017 Implementation. A Pre-Implementation Meeting with the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology, Research Development (PCIEERD) and Bicol Consortium for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology, Research Development (BCIEERD) was held at College Boardroom, Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges last April 25, 2017 to discuss the obligations of the project leader, project members, accountants, municipalities (LGU Bula and Nabua), BCIEERD and head of agencies of CSPC and PCIEERD in the successful and timely completion of the project. e-Governance Team Expected Output was also presented to Local Government Units of Nabua and Bula as co-beneficiaries of the project.
Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges kicked-off its 34th Charter Anniversary with the Theme, “CSPC: an Advocate of Peace and Development in the Age of Internationalization last June 10, 2017. The event was started with a “Diana” wherein the CSPC Band toured the town while playing music to wake up the people. It was followed by Fun Walk, Fun Run and Fun Bike and Color Splash Parade which was participated by students, faculty, staff around poblacion area filled with fun and colors. After which, Students, Faculty and Staff joined the Zumbaerobics assisted by the CSPC Performing Arts.
