Extension Office convenes CSPC officials, partners to localize VMGO, forms

The Extension Services Office, which is under the tutelage of Dir. Amado A. Oliva, Jr., conducted the Localization of Extension VMGO/Forms cum Multisectoral Consultative Engagement on February 6, 2020 at the Pearl Function Hall of the College.

The event formally started with an opening remarks delivered by Dr. Teresita B. Salazar, Vice President for Research, Extension, Production, and Entrepreneurial Development.

Dr. Oliva then had the statement of purpose and the acknowledgment of partner stakeholders.

After which, Dr. Charlito P. Cadag, SUC President III, shared his message, which focused on how the activity serves as a mechanism for a responsive community extension delivery modalities that solicits the input of CSPC’s faculty, extension coordinators, student extensionists, and partner stakeholders. He even claimed that this will result to having effective and localized forms for evaluation, community profiling, and training needs assessment, which are useful reference for the institution’s target communities. “We will be able to help them specify their comments, feedback, and suggestions. Consequently, this will further result to our continuous responsiveness to the needs of the different sectors of the community with which we interact,” Dr. Cadag added.

Aside from the College officials, extension coordinators, and student extensionists, also present during the one-day activity were the partner stakeholders of CSPC such as the Brgy. San Isidro Poblacion, Brgy. San Roque Madawon, and Brgy. Lourdes Young of Local Government Unit (LGU) of Nabua; Brgy. San Miguel, Brgy. Buluang, and Brgy. Sagrada of LGU Baao; Brgy. Sta Justina of LGU Buhi; Brgy. Tres Reyes of LGU Bato; San Antonio National High School; Zeferino Arroyo High School; Department of Social Welfare and Development-Field Office V; and Iriga City PPO, Hall of Justice.

Moreover, Dr. Oliva also presented the accomplishments of the unit last year; the existing linkages of CSPC with its partner communities; and the proposed 2020 Action Plan of the College.
