The College recognized Engr. Edilbert V. Tandaan, 1st Placer in the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination on September 11, 2017 at the College Gymnasium in the occasion of the weekly flag raising ceremony attended by students, faculty, staff, and college officials.
Dr. Dulce F. Atian, College President, together with Dr. Teresita B. Salazar and Mr. Ferdinand B. Valencia, VP for Academic Affairs and Administration, respectively, Engr. Radmar B. Tañamor and Engr. Francia H. Tomenio, Deans of the College of Engineering and its faculty presented the Certificate of Commendation to Engr. Tandaan and a cash incentive amounting to Twenty Thousand Pesos (P20,000.00) for his achievement which was given by the College and the CSPC Alumni Association represented by its President, Hon. Luningning Q. Bregala.
Engr. Tandaan then gave thanks to everyone who were behind his success, especially to CSPC and the Faculty of Engineering.
“I am just a simple student. I do not have a secret to success. We just have to do our best, and we can have it,” he said.
The 25 passers who joined Engr. Tandaan in the pool of triumphant examinees were also recognized in the ceremony and were given Certificates of Commendation.
An on-the-spot ‘mini-lecture’ and testimonial program was conducted with the Engineering students to inspire them in taking the board examination in the future.
A formal testimonial program and motorcade will be organized to highlight this important milestone of the College.
