Student leaders and campus advisers from all over Bicol Region and National Capital Region convened at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges for the 4th Regional Student Leaders Conference on July 20 to 22, 2017. A total of 469 delegates from 16 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Senior High Schools (SHSs) were present in the three-day gathering that was graced by Charles Michael Salas, CSPC Alumnus and 2017 Ten Outstanding Students of Bicol Awardee; Mr. Metodio Maraguinot, Youth lead Philippines Founder and Chair; Prof. Marlon Maglipas, FEU Institute of Technology SADU Coordinator; Mr. Rodman Papros, GUHIT Pinas President; and Hon. Lord Arnel Ruanto, Municipal Councilor of Infanta, Quezon, who shared insightful lectures on leadership as plenary speakers. Keynote speakers were Hon. Ronald Adamat, Chairman of CSPC Board of Trustees and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner, and Mr. Mark Vincent Lim of the National Union of Students of the Philippines.
Among the highlights of the regional affair were the torch parade around the Nabua Poblacion area, Teambuilding Activity, bonfire, and a special session with the National Economic and Development Authority for AmBisyon Natin 2040. The 4th RSLC was made possible through the efforts of the Central Student Council, Inc.
